Britney. Sports.

Who knew Mikhail Bakhtin and Julia Kristeva influenced Britney Spears? Her new stuff is highly intertextual.

Oh, and, sports sports sports, sporty sport.

You're allowed to blogg about non-Sports, Brains! And put your links lower in the post, for some reason they never work in the top few lines (above the word "valley!" on the side)

Wow, I love the montage of all the other songs called "If you see kay."

They say: "In 1982, the Canadian band April Wine released a lousy song called If You See Kay". Lousy? I love the lyric "Her legs were long & shapely / I could tell her love was HOT."

You know, that WAS my initial reaction when I saw it on the huffpost, that
-the spelling out FUCK in that moment in the song didn't make any sense, except as a childish gag: "All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek Amy." Bizarre lyric.
It's heartening that none of its earlier incarnations make sense BOTH in context & as a reason to slip in an obscenity. Only James Joyce's doggerel makes sense both ways (not too much to ask from poems & lyrics, actually):

If you see kay
Tell him he may
See you in tea
Tell him from me.
