On the Theme of Wedding Dresses

Speaking of beautiful wedding dresses, someone by the French terrorist-sounding name Sigga Sunna Reynisdóttir has created a lovely video for Mr Sam Amidon's song Wedding Dress, with accompanying arrangement by Nico Muhly (profiled in The New Yorker on February 11th 2008), from his album All Is Well. The YouTube is posted below, but to see a higher quality version, click on the bottom of the Tooth Wedding Dress to my left. (More of these wedding dresses can be found among Ms Proinseas' artwork here.)

Messrs Amidon, Muhly & friends will be performing in San Francisco at the Cafe du Nord Swedish American Hall
on Monday, August 18th. & in L.A. at the Hotel Cafe on Tuesday, August 19th. Their complete West Coast tour is posted here.

Mrs Bonnie Whiting Smith has an attractive new website with information, pictures, videos, interactive games, upcoming performances, & other things that a percussionist's website should: www.bonniewhitingsmith.com. Stay tuned for her West Coast Tour, which might feature some recognizable cameos.

"Toby Keith is here to talk about his new film Beer For My Horses.
It's just like Brideshead Revisited, but with drunk horses.
