Our friend Mrs Eley-Nelson just created a quick website to display Thomas Lovell Beddoes bus slogans. (She is a descendant of the family of Thomas Lovell Beddoes, who is a death-obsessed neo-Jacobian Romantic poet.) The images were created with the help of the bus slogan generator. Click on this image to see all of her Beddoes Buses.

This is the second time in the last two hours that I have commented on art imitating life that is imitating art. The first was verbal, and in real-time, and over a second hot toddy. This one is silent, and in virtual time, and sent without the better judgment that sobriety might have offered two hours ago: http://trimet.org/advertising/poetry/index.htm.
My favorite thing ever read on the side of an actual bus in Portland was: "Your absence has gone through me like thread through a needle. Everything I do is stitched with its color."
